Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate: Inchicore & Bluebell Pastoral Area
introduction
The sacrament of Baptism is the gate to any other sacrament in the Church. It begins our journey with the Lord which lasts for the whole life. That's the reason why we need to prepare ourselves well for that big step in the life of the particular family as well as the candidate. Even though we think sometimes the baptism is reserved for the time of our early childhood, adults ask for that sacrament also.

As the Parish Community, we want to do our best to prepare the candidate and the family for that celebration well. Because of that, the time before receiving this sacrament is crucial. We all need to know what to do, how to behave and what the signs mean. So, when you want to ask for baptism, do it as soon as possible. We will try to choose the most suitable date for you.

The first step to ask for the sacrament of Baptism is to come to the parish office and talk with parish secretary and/or priest.
